All Green models are forged from VG-10W steel and use a ball-bearing tension system with a Tension Adjustable Screw. The bearings reduce friction, which helps with large sections and thick hair and takes strain off the fingers and thumb.

The hair scissors have convex, hollow ground blades with a mirror polish.

The series also includes texturizer scissors. Their teeth are shaped by an erosion process so that every tooth meets the cutting edge at the same angle, and the gaps between the teeth taper inwards to keep hair from catching as the scissors are drawn out.
